Information Collection and Use
Upon signing up for all of our services, users will be asked to provide information so that we can contact you, locate you, or identify you. We collect information in the following ways:

• When you register for one of our services, we will collect your name, company name, address, email, phone number, location, a Metro Marketing, Inc. username/password, and other basic contact information. Furthermore, when you register for a Metro Marketing, Inc. service, you will be prompted for payment through Authorize.net or PayPal. Required information will include your name, shipping address, credit card number, expire date, validation number, and and billing address. Once registered, Metro Marketing, Inc. may contact you about special offers, contests or promotions, reported problems. All emails sent to Metro Marketing, Inc. will be logged and kept for future reference as well as all emails sent to you from Metro Marketing, Inc..
• Furthermore, Metro Marketing, Inc. logs all hit activity around our web site, which include information about your system, browser, IP address, computer name, referrer address, and other common logging information.
• Every time that you log into your Metro Marketing, Inc. account, not only will you be prompted for a username and password, but information will be stored on our system such as the date you accessed it, how many times you accessed it, the time at which you accessed it, and other tracking and statistical information.

Cookies
Metro Marketing, Inc. currently does not use cookies on our web site.

Some of our business partners use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies, once we have given permission for them to set cookies for advertising.

Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. IP addresses are tied to personally identifiable information to enable our Web-based service. Metro Marketing, Inc. currently uses a tracking utility called AXS that uses log files to analyze user movement.

Metro Marketing, Inc. currently does not use clear GIF technology.

Communications from the Site

• Special Offers and Updates: We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see the Choice and Opt-out sections.
• Newsletter: Users downloading one of our free CGI scripts will be prompted to join our newsletter. At their discretion, they may choose not to join. All users registering for a pay service are automatically added to the newsletter. If a customer wishes to be removed, he/she must contact a Metro Marketing, Inc. representative a request removal.
• Service Announcements: On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.
• Customer Service: We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the users wishes.

Sharing: Legal Disclaimer
Metro Marketing, Inc. takes every possible precaution in order to not share personal information

• Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable): We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. On rare occasion, if requested by an advertiser, partner, or affiliate, we will display information about total members, total hits, total unique IPs, and other information along these lines. This is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
• Third Party Advertisers: Metro Marketing, Inc. runs its own advertising engine, and thus does not share personal information with any outside sources. We do not Share Personal Information with Third Parties.
• Third Party Intermediaries: We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
• Service Providers: We partner with other third parties, for example nu3.net web central, to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these particular services, he or she will be asked if interested in web hosting by nu3.net. If the user is, some personal information will be shared with nu3.net web central. These third parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Business Transitions
In the event Metro Marketing, Inc. goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users’ personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.

Choice/Opt-out
Our users are given the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for information. For example, our order form has an ‘opt-out’ mechanism so users who buy a product from us, but don’t want any marketing material, can keep their email address off of our lists. Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications may opt-out of receiving these communications by emailing us at ascad@ascadnetworks.com. Users of our site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether or not they should proceed with services that require an outside party.

From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests.
